Set-13
Seven persons i.e. P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are living in a seven floor building with ground floor is numbered as 1, floor above it is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered as 7 .They all like different colors i.e. Blue, Pink, Red, Yellow, Grey, Orange and Black .Four of them belongs to Delhi and rest belongs to Punjab. All information is not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes Pink color lives on an even numbered floor. The one who belongs to Punjab lives just below the one who likes Pink color. R lives on sixth floor. The one who lives on second floor belongs to Delhi. U lives on fourth floor. Two persons live between R and the one who likes Grey color. As many persons live below the one who likes grey color as lives above the one who belongs to Punjab. V lives immediately below S and likes Black color and lives on an odd numbered floor. The one who belongs to Delhi lives just below the one who likes Blue color and just above the one who likes Red Color. The one who belongs to Delhi does not like Grey color. P lives on the topmost floor. The one who likes Yellow color does not belong to Delhi. R does not like Orange color. Q lives above T.
सात व्यक्ति अर्थात- P, Q, R, S, T, U और V एक सात मंजिला इमारत में रह रहे हैं, जिसमें भूतल को क्रमांक 1 के रूप गिना जाता है, इसके ऊपर की मंजिल को 2 के रूप में गिना जाता है और इसी प्रकार सबसे ऊपरी मंजिल को 7 के रूप में गिना जाता है। उन सभी को अलग-अलग रंग पसंद हैं अर्थात:- नीला, गुलाबी, लाल, पीला, भूरा, नारंगी और काला। उनमें से चार दिल्ली से हैं और शेष पंजाब से हैं। जरूरी नहीं कि सभी जानकारी समान क्रम में हो।
जो व्यक्ति गुलाबी रंग पसंद करता है, वह एक सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। जो व्यक्ति पंजाब से है, वह गुलाबी रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक नीचे रहता है। R छठी मंजिल पर रहता है। जो व्यक्ति दूसरी मंजिल पर रहता है, वह दिल्ली से है। U चौथी मंजिल पर रहता है। R और भूरा रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच दो व्यक्ति रहते हैं। भूरा रंग पसंद करने वाले से नीचे उतने ही व्यक्ति रहते हैं, जितने पंजाब से संबंधित व्यक्ति से ऊपर रहते हैं। V, S के ठीक नीचे रहता है और वह काला रंग पसंद करता है साथ ही वह विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। जो व्यक्ति दिल्ली से संबंधित है, वह नीला रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक नीचे और लाल रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक ऊपर रहता है। दिल्ली से संबंधित व्यक्ति, भूरा रंग पसंद नहीं करता है। P सबसे ऊपरी मंजिल पर रहता है। जो व्यक्ति पीला रंग पसंद करता है, वह दिल्ली से संबंधित नहीं है। R को नारंगी रंग पसंद नहीं है। Q,T से ऊपर रहता है।
Set-13
Eight persons M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting around a hollow circular table such that four of them sit on the inner side of the table and faces away from the centre and the rest are sitting on the outer side circle and faces towards the centre. The persons sitting on the outer side circle are facing the persons sitting on the inner side of the table. They have different ages i.e. 64,41, 39, 28, 25, 22, 20and 19 but not necessarily in the same order.
T is elder than R.The age of P is divisible by 5.N faces Q .S is an immediate neighbour of Q who is the youngest person. The sum of the ages of M and P is the perfect square. P sits third to the right of N.The difference between the ages of Q and N is 3.T faces O. R sits second to the left of Q.T sits at the immediate left of Q. The age of S is equal to the sum of ages of N and Q. The age of O is a perfect cube. T is sitting on the inner side of the table.
आठ व्यक्ति M, N, O, P, Q, R, S और T एक खोखली वृत्ताकार मेज के चारों ओर बैठे हैं, उनमें से चार मेज की अंदर वाली भुजा पर केंद्र के बाहर ओर उन्मुख होकर बैठे हैं और शेष सभी बाहरी वृत्त पर मेज के अन्दर की ओर उन्मुखहोकर बैठे हैं। वृत्ताकार मेज के बाहरी वृत्त पर बैठे व्यक्ति और मेज के अंदर वाली भुजा पर बैठे व्यक्तियों की ओर उन्मुख हैं। उनकी आयु अलग-अलग है, अर्थात- 64, 41, 39, 28, 25, 22, 20 और 19 लेकिन जरूरी नहीं है कि जानकारी समान क्रम में हो।
T, R से बड़ा है। P की आयु 5 से विभाज्य है। N का मुख Q की ओर है। S, Q का एक निकटतम पड़ोसी है, जो सबसे कम आयु का व्यक्ति है। M और P की आयु का योग एक पूर्ण वर्ग है। P, N के दायीं ओर तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। Q और N की आयु के बीच का अंतर 3 है। T का मुख Q की ओर है। R, Q के बायें दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। T, Q के ठीक बायीं ओर बैठा है। S की आयु, N और Q की आयु के योग के बराबर है। O की आयु एक पूर्ण घन है। T मेज की अंदर वाली भुजा पर बैठा है।
Set-14
Ten students U, V, W, X, Y, P, Q, R, S and T are living in a five-story building such as ground floor is numbered as 1, floor above it is numbered as 2 so on till the topmost floor is numbered as 5. Each of the floors has 2 flats in it viz. flat-A and flat-B. Flat-A of floor-B is immediately above flat-A of floor-1 and immediately below flat-A of floor-3 and so on. In the same way flat-B of floor-2 is immediately above flat-B of floor-1 and immediately below flat-B of floor-3 and so on. Flat- A is in west of flat-B. They all study different subjects i.e. Physics, Hindi, History, Biology, Computer, Geography, English, Accounts, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Q lives in flat-A and study English. W lives in the south west direction of X. Two students are living between the one who study Hindi and V both in the same numbered flat .Y lives on an odd numbered floor in flat A but not on the topmost floor. U study Physics and Y study Biology. X study computer and lives on an even numbered floor to the east of R. V lives in the south- east direction of Y. U lives on 5th floor in flat A. W study Accounts and lives in North -west direction of S. P lives above R who study History. S doesn’t study Chemistry and Geography. Geography is not studied by T.
दस विद्यार्थी U, V, W, X, Y, P, Q, R, S और T एक पांच मंजिला इमारत में इस प्रकार रहते हैं कि भूतल की संख्या 1 है, इससे ऊपर वाले तल की संख्या 2 है और इसी प्रकार शीर्ष तल की संख्या 5 है। प्रत्येक तल पर 2 फ्लैट अर्थात्- फ्लैट -A और फ्लैट -B हैं। तल 2 का फ्लैट-A, तल 1 के फ्लैट-A के ठीक ऊपर तथा तल 3 के फ्लैट-A के ठीक नीचे है। समान प्रकार से, तल -2 का फ्लैट-B, तल -1 के फ्लैट- B के ठीक ऊपर तथा तल 3 के फ्लैट-B के ठीक नीचे है और आगे भी इसी प्रकार हैं। फ्लैट-A, फ्लैट-B के पश्चिम में है। वे सभी विभिन्न विषयों अर्थात् भौतिकी, हिंदी, इतिहास, जीव-विज्ञान, कंप्यूटर, भूगोल, अंग्रेजी, एकाउंट्स, रसायन-विज्ञान तथा गणित का अध्ययन करते हैं।
Q, फ्लैट-A में रहता है तथा अंग्रेजी का अध्ययन करता है। W, X की दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा में रहता है। हिंदी का अध्ययन करने वाले विद्यार्थी तथा V के मध्य रहने वाले दोनों विद्यार्थी समान फ्लैट संख्या में रहते हैं। Y एक विषम संख्या वाले तल पर फ्लैट A में रहता है लेकिन शीर्ष तल पर नहीं रहता है। U, भौतिकी तथा Y, जीव-विज्ञान का अध्ययन करता है। X कंप्यूटर का अध्ययन करता है तथा R के पूर्व में सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है। V, Y की दक्षिण-पूर्व दिशा में रहता है। U पांचवें तल पर फ्लैट A में रहता है। W एकाउंट्स का अध्ययन करता है तथा S की उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशा में रहता है। P, इतिहास पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति R से ऊपर रहता है। S रसायन-विज्ञान तथा भूगोल का अध्ययन नहीं करता है। T भूगोल का अध्ययन नहीं करता है।
Set-15
Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V have bought gifts of different costs. Each of them bought gifts of different colors i.e. Red, Orange, Blue, Yellow and Brown. Two of them bought gift of white color but not necessarily in the same order.
U bought a gift of Red color which is more expensive than the one having Blue colored gift. The person who bought gift of Blue color has more expensive gift than the one who bought Brown colored gift. P buy more expensive gift than the one who bought gift of yellow color. The one having gift of yellow color has a cost of 3k. Only three persons bought gifts which is less expensive than the one who has Brown colored gift. Brown colored gift is more expensive than 3k. R buys a gift of 2k but not of White color. R and S does not bought the least expensive gift. Gift of Q is more expensive than that of P and less expensive than that of V. V is not having the second highest expensive gift.
सात व्यक्तियों P, Q, R, S, T, U और V ने अलग-अलग मूल्य के उपहार खरीदे। उनमें से प्रत्येक व्यक्ति ने अलग-अलग अर्थात्- लाल, संतरी, नीले, पीले और भूरे रंग के उपहार खरीदे। उनमें से दो व्यक्तियों ने सफ़ेद रंग का उपहार ख़रीदा लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि जानकारी समान क्रम में हो।
U ने लाल रंग का उपहार ख़रीदा जो नीले रंग के उपहार से महंगा है। नीले रंग का उपहार खरीदने वाले व्यक्ति के पास, भूरे रंग का उपहार खरीदने वाले व्यक्ति से अधिक महंगा उपहार है। P, पीले रंग का उपहार खरीदने वाले व्यक्ति से अधिक महंगा उपहार खरीदता है। जिस व्यक्ति के पास पीले रंग का उपहार है उसके उपहार का मूल्य 3k है। केवल तीन व्यक्तियों द्वारा खरीदे गये उपहार, भूरे रंग के उपहार से कम महंगे हैं। भूरे रंग का उपहार, 3k से महंगा है। R, 2k का उपहार खरीदता है लेकिन सफ़ेद रंग का उपहार नहीं खरीदता है। R और S सबसे कम महंगे उपहार नहीं खरीदते हैं। Q का उपहार, P के उपहार से अधिक महंगा है और V के उपहार से कम महंगा है। V के पास दूसरा सबसे महंगा उपहार नहीं है।
Set-16
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a hollow square table such that four of them sit on the inner side of the table and faces away from the centre and the rest are sitting on the outer side of the table and faces towards the centre. The persons sitting on the outer side square are facing the persons sitting on the inner side of the table. All of them are sitting in the middle of the table. They likes different colors i.e. red, blue, green, white, orange, violet, pink and silver but not necessarily in the same order.
H doesn’t like pink and green. The one who likes blue color faces the one who sits second to the left of G. The one who likes white color sits at the immediate left of A who likes red color. B doesn’t like white color. The one who likes violet color sits at the immediate right of C and at the immediate left of H. F likes orange color. G faces A. The person who likes violet color sits on the inner side of the table. E sits opposite to G and on inner side of table. C doesn’t like green color. The person who is sitting at the immediate right of A faces C.
आठ व्यक्ति A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक खोखली वर्गाकार मेज़ के चारों ओर इस प्रकार बैठे हैं कि उनमें से चार व्यक्ति मेज़ की आंतरिक भुजा पर बैठे हैं और केंद्र से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख हैं तथा शेष व्यक्ति मेज़ की बाहरी भुजा पर बैठे हैं और केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख हैं। वर्ग की बाहरी भुजा पर बैठे व्यक्ति, मेज़ की आंतरिक भुजा पर बैठे व्यक्तियों की ओर उन्मुख हैं। सभी व्यक्ति मेज़ की भुजाओं के मध्य में बैठे हैं। वे विभिन्न रंग अर्थात् लाल, नीला, हरा, सफ़ेद, संतरी, बैंगनी, गुलाबी और सिल्वर पसंद करते हैं लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हों।
H को गुलाबी और हरा रंग पसंद नहीं है। नीला रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, G के बायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठे व्यक्ति की ओर उन्मुख है। सफ़ेद रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, A के ठीक बायें बैठा है, जो लाल रंग पसंद करता है। B को सफ़ेद रंग पसंद नहीं है। बैंगनी रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, C के ठीक दायें और H के ठीक बायें बैठा है। F को संतरी रंग पसंद है। G, A की ओर उन्मुख है। बैंगनी रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, मेज़ की आंतरिक भुजा पर बैठा है। E, G के विपरीत बैठा है और मेज़ की आंतरिक भुजा पर बैठा है। C को हरा रंग पसंद नहीं है। A के ठीक दायें बैठा व्यक्ति, C की ओर उन्मुख है।
